As per Income Tax rules, it is mandatory to link Aadhaar with PAN. If your investor’s Aadhaar is not linked with his/her PAN, a higher tax may be deducted at source on the investor’s “Income Distribution & Capital Withdrawals” (IDCW), declared in the scheme if any.
